Updated as the job moves
Built from the reports and systems you already use.
An AI-native platform for upper mid-market GCs. We start with the WIP, where every job comes together.
| Job | Field inputs |
|---|---|
| 2431Manufacturing plant | Cost-to-complete due |
| 2417Distribution center | Unpriced change |
| 2422Medical office | Current |
| 2440Cold storage | Field progress not reported |
Changes, progress and quantities aren't reliably recorded on site.
What does get recorded is split across apps, inboxes and files.
Finance chases PMs and turns field updates into numbers in Excel.
Overruns and unbilled changes show up late.
Cost-to-complete varies by PM and arrives late, so forecasts take extra work.
AI-native from day one, so it doesn't need patches to work.
Built from the reports and systems you already use.
The field, PMs and finance work from the same numbers.
Every job is set up the same way, so the numbers hold up month after month, and with your bank and surety.
Take the data into Excel whenever your team needs it.
Simpler information capture, so PMs and superintendents can run more jobs.
Numbers stay current without the month-end chase.
Slips caught early, changes recovered. At a ~4% margin, every 0.1% of revenue kept is 2.5% more profit.
Forecasts your bank and surety can rely on support more bonding capacity.
That's where our name comes from.
Cantro takes the manual, repetitive work off your team, so they have room for the next project.
Built with you, for you.
I've spent 14 years helping businesses understand their numbers and grow, first as a banker, then building accounting software.
At J.P. Morgan, I spent my days in companies' financial statements: learning how each business worked, sizing up its risks, and helping it get the financing it needed to grow.
At Intuit, I helped the company grow by building and buying. That included acquiring TSheets, the timesheet app many field crews use, and expanding into e-commerce. I then moved to QuickBooks to work on the hardest part of accounting software: the core logic that keeps the books right. I launched multi-entity accounting for Intuit Enterprise Suite and built AI accounting agents. Along the way, construction companies told me how much time they lost to data spread across disconnected systems.
Cantro came from asking GC owners, CFOs, project managers and superintendents directly where things break down today. Now we're building the construction software of the future, with them.
